FAQ
What is your current Turnaround? Our turnaround time is listed on the first page of the website. There is no "Rush" service available but we will complete as quickly as humanly possible. Sometimes that is faster than quoted and sometimes parts delays will increase the posted times. We will advise you once we receive your suspension when to expect it to be completed.
How should I pack and ship my suspension? There are lots of ways to do this. The idea is to pack adequately enough that nothing is damaged. The majority of our customers use a double rifle case as they are readily available locally and require very minimal additional packing material. They also last significantly longer than cardboard boxes and have other storage uses as well. Some additional tips: remove your speed bleeders, they will leak fluid and the shipping company may charge you a hazardous waste fee...... remove your lower fork guards and any tube wraps such as carbon covers etc.....
What year is too old? Contact me first before coming by or shipping in your suspension. Generally I will work on Japanese newer than 2000 and KTM newer than 2005. Call first if it's older.
Should I clean my suspension before shipping or dropping off? YES! You don't want to pay us to clean your suspension. Normal dust, dirt and leaks are ok and expected but if its covered in mud or its been years since you washed your bike there will be a cleaning fee added to your bill.
I tried calling but got the voicemail? Some days are worse than others with phone volume. Please be patient, we will get back with you. Email is preferred as it allows a more thorough and reasonably timed response. We aren't ignoring you, we promise. Lots of phone calls, oily hands and walk in customers can mean that we can't answer every single phone call. Please don't hang up and call back multiple times thinking that will speed up the process, it will not. Leave a message or email and we will get back with you as quickly as possible.
Do you do custom work such as lowering or non standard builds not listed on the website? Absolutely! Most of the builds we do don't fit the limited number of items we have called out on the website. Send us a message and we can talk through your needs.
Do you take whole motorcycles? At this time we are not taking whole motorcycles. We focus on suspension and nothing else so having the whole motorcycle is not required.
