Beta RACE Model Options
Beta RACE models came with three different closed cartridge forks. Each becoming better than the model it replaced.
The Marzocchi fork came on the 2014-2015 Race Models.
The Sachs Closed Cartridge came on the 2016-2019 Race Models
The KYB fork comes on the current RACE models from 2020+
KYB Works Build
Our most popular KYB Fork build by far, THE WORKS. This takes a fork that was made for racing and makes it far more versatile and trail worthy. The biggest complaint that riders have is the fork is too stiff and harsh. Well it does say RACE on the bike so this isn't terribly surprising. However, we can fix that and make it better. Our KYB Works build includes a revalve, progressive ICS springs and our ever popular finger adjusters for tool-less compression adjustments. What the heck is an ICS spring? This is the spring that provides pressure against the stock floating piston in the fork. In stock trim this rate is fixed and provides the same amount of force throughout the stroke. Our ICS springs are progressive and provide less pressure initially (top of the stroke, small bumps, initial movement) but ramp up stiffer than stock to keep the fork from collapsing from being too soft. Combined with our revalve, this makes the fork nice and plush up top and still maintains the bottoming resistance that the KYB fork is known for.
